Legend of Korra: Time Crash

It has been a month since the end of the Anti Bending Revolution and the defeat of Amon.  Dawn was breaking over Republic City.  The dark sky slowly turned a crimson color as the sun peeked from behind the clouds casting its warm orangey glow over Republic City.  A cool breeze blew from the east making the leaves on the ground twirl as they danced in the wind.

In the distance, Republic City glowed and gleamed from the sun's rays as if it was on fire.  Bustling noises of cars and pounding footsteps can be heard as people came to work and those on night shift were returning home.  Factory chimneys' were spewing dark filthy smoke that polluted the air.

The noisy city was a direct contrast to serene and tranquil atmosphere Air Temple Island.  Birds were chirping and in the distance, and splashes can be heard from the koi fishes swimming in the garden pool.

Against the crimson sky, long figure was moving elegantly.  She was muscular and the glowing sky adds to her radiance.  Her skin was a light coffee color and her blue eyes sparkled in the sun.  Around her leaves and grasses dancing in the wind as Korra practiced her air bending.  Korra was completely oblivious of the circle of light that formed behind her.  First, a tiny glow that grew until it formed a tiny bubble.  It continued to grow larger and larger until it formed a 6-foot circle.

Out from the circle stepped a figure that bumped into Korra.  Korra turned around and gasped.  It was like staring at a mirror.  There in front of her stood another Korra that was exactly alike the present Korra down to the smallest freckle.

"Earth.  Fire.  Air.  Water.  Only the Avatar can master all four elements and bring balance to the world."

Korra was dumbfounded.

"How can it be?" she asked.

"Dimensional bending," other Korra replied calmly.  [See Legend of Korra: The Last Airbender]

"Excuse me?  Dimensional bending?" asked Korra, which prompted a reply from other Korra, "Spoilers."

Then out from the temple stepped Mako, which instantly fainted.  There before him stood two of the most beautiful girls in the world, well technically they are both Korras.

When Mako gained consciousness, lifted his head and pulled him up.  As an afterthought, Korra kissed him on the cheek, which prompted the other Korra to snog him out of jealousy.  Korra glared at other Korra, with eyes glowing red with anger.

"Why did you kiss him," Korra yelled.

"Why did YOU kiss him?" retorted other Korra.

"I was trying to comfort him," Korra replied angrily.

"But he's my boyfriend!" snapped other Korra and then traded punch with Korra.

Soon there was a heated bending battle between the two Korras with fireballs, ice shards, and boulders shooting left and right.

Mako intervened to try to stop the two Korras fighting.

"Girls girls, there is enough of me to go around," he said with a smirk.  This comment prompted both Korras to punch him before resuming their battle.

A massive earth tremor knocked both Korras and Mako to the ground.  Huge cracks appeared in the ground and black mist seeped through.  In the sky, jagged cracks appeared and the ugly head of the reapers poked through.

"I don't want to cause another world catastrophe," said other Korra as she stepped toward the portal, "so I better be off."

The two Korras hugged each other in a lasting and waved good bye as the other Korra stepped through the bubble she came from.

Before departing, other Korra uttered a cryptic warning, "Be careful of the dark spirit.  A storm is coming, a storm worse than anything you know of."
